Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.
There will be talk over the coming days that ICE killed “the wrong person,” that the victim was here “legally,” etc. Please stop with the dehumanizing distinctions. ICE exists to ethnically cleanse & terrorize and *no one* deserves to experience violence & fear based on their status or race.
ICE Agents killed a 26-year-old man from Colombia in Biddeford, Maine this morning. ICE is a lawless paramilitary organization. It does not enforce immigration laws--it kidnaps and terrorizes immigrants. That has always been its purpose. It must be abolished.

I haven't cared about Platner since learning about his anti-Semitic tattoo and don't have much else to say except that I feel awful for the people he harmed and the progressive voters of Maine who wanted real change and hoped he would provide it.
