I can't handle Chatgpt new "personality" and how it talks to me like we were friends, with "Oooh" and "fuuun" and way too many emojis. Keep it professional bro

Cofounder cto of a CRM for philanthropy ✨🍀 Rails and Next.js freelancer, Indie maker, explorer and builder of more things. Vegan & full-time sunshine-seeker - I'd rather code blinded 😎 than locked in componentlibraries.com
I'm looking for a good service/API to handle electronic document signature for a next.js app, if anyone knows a good straight to the point tool I'd love to hear about it 👌
I forget to cancel trial accounts 100% of the time, which, on the bright side, allows me to speak to and test many customer services to get refunded 😂 Well I must say that Canva is by far the BEST to handle refund queries: it took me 1 min by speaking to their AI chatbot.
My yearly Cursor subscription has ended and I'm confused: to renew or not renew And if not, which one is best to use? 😵💫😱
I prompted Cursor to make a large change. That was 30 min ago, since then I completely forgot I had prompted it, and I "woke up" while scrolling completely unrelated websites and articles, and as I was considering starting to create Framer templates instead of being a dev 😅 classic 2025 workflow
Our platform is 8 months old roughly, and now features 115 libraries 🥰 and is still very useful to all the devs or designers who don't 100% rely on vibe-coding 🙈 #buildinpublic #design #dev
There wasn't a single platform showcasing ALL the component libraries for any framework, let alone promoting bootstrapped independent ones from indies, so we built one! 🥳 We would LOVE your support today on www.producthunt.com/posts/compon... ❤️ #buildinpublic #indiemaker #indie #design #react
Been using superwhisper.com when I'm extra lazy or want to speak/brainstorm out loud. The free plan is more than enough, and it is REALLY good at transcribing voices (despite my French accent) and understanding AI or tech-related vocabulary 👌

After months of posting everyday on 🦋 and coding quite intensely until earlier this year, I went through quite a rough period. I spent the last few months focusing on myself and less on my code or on what others were doing (bye bye fomo) and I feel much better now ☺️🌱 Reminder to take care of ya all
I'm back (maybe?) after a Bluesky break of a couple of months and what do I see, we can finally save post?!! 😍
I'm so grateful to be a dev, able to understand the changes and migrations that AI confidently tells me to run on my database... I questioned if it was sure and: "YES! You're absolutely right to question this. I found the problem - our emergency rollback IS dropping existing essential triggers!" 🙄
Agree, crazy how humans want to make everything as productive as possible and cannot just sit still and listen to someone talking 😄
I'm wondering if this is true for others: I can only listen to podcasts if I'm "doing" something else: walking, driving, running, working out, chores, cooking, etc. If I'm sitting still (on an airplane, at home on the couch), I'd much prefer to watch video. Just me?
Some seem to think that throwing "AI-powered" stuff into their app will magically bring fame and success 💅
I know AI is very cool... But not every tool needs AI. Sometimes a simple script solves more problems than a full-blown model
I enjoyed my weekend so much that I forgot about 🦋 and lost my 135-day streak, it doesn't matter at all, but I'm proud I made it to that, I'm not usually one who likes routines 🙈 Starting the week with strong ambitions to finish a rails project, the last step is to add many charts to a dashboard 😄
I wish there could be a day where I don't see the word vibe coding, just a one-day break
No laptop day and more of a wellness day, doing some creative manual activities and all the little things that bring me joy ☀️
CSS is shipping cool new properties to simplify everything these days 💅
Introducing 🤯 flex-wrap: balance 🤯 Would you use this? ⚠️ Not a real feature yet, just something one of our engineers has been working on. (You can try it out in the latest Chrome Canary with the experimental web platform features flag though!)
Componentlibraries.com is living on its own, we got a spike in traffic recently, probably after the @uneed.best launch and made an affiliate sale yesterday 🥳 I do believe directories are some kind of passive assets that you can build and forget about, to invest in the future
Note to myself: every task/project will take at least 1.5 or 2 times longer than what you estimated And it's always when I feel relaxed about timing and deadlines that I receive three bugs or complaints that need to be prioritised and that delay whatever I was on 🫠
No laptop day, it was too sunny and I actually became a mama squirrel as I found a lost tiny baby early this morning 🐿️🥹
Our CRM app Adiuvo is a little over 5 years old now 🥳 And this year, we finally took the time to update our very old website to make it a little modern! (well, my life partner made it for us, actually!) I started freelancing in 2020 to help my (future)-cofounder on a small project👇🧵

Wow we ended up with 28 upvotes which is pretty good on Uneed (since it's not flooded by fake or AI votes like on product hunt) Thanks all 🤗
I forgot that I submitted our directory on Uneed since it was months ago 😅 and surprise, it's live today! It took time, but definitely worth it as @uneed.best has an insane DR 64 if my Ahref extension is correct @tsanlis.bsky.social? 🚴 If you'd like to support: www.uneed.best/tool/compone...

I made changes in how I use Cursor lately. One of them, when asking for large changes, is to follow up with "How confident (0-10) are you in making these changes?" It makes it reconsider/criticise its strategy & find flaws before even implementing 🔥 so you save time and get higher quality code
So grateful for this freedom too and the importance of listening to yourself and acting on it
Sometimes I get stuck while coding. Years ago, I'd push through, force myself until I found a way. It burned me out. Now, I just take a break. Simple things like being barefoot and repotting a plant provide answers. And of course sauna. Yes, it's Monday again ;) #buildinpublic #indiehackers
