Was a great session! I got to hear about so many opportunities, such a sense of community, and access to wonderful resources. I am so ready for it to be September so I can get properly stuck in, now.

Today in things I am (im)patiently waiting for: funding application results. I must admit that I have become increasingly capable of patience since I pressed 'submit' on my PhD application in October, so look! I am learning and developing new skills already, and I don't start until September!

Does anyone have any tips on keeping track of reading, when doing the lit review of a PhD (and beyond)? I am leaning towards making a spreadsheet, because I am a spreadsheet kinda gal, but very open to tips, hints, and suggestions!
Read a great article about whether or not large canid skeletons at a group of palaeolithic sites are wolves or dogs. The group of sites are jointly referred to as 'Pavlovian'. Dogs. Pavlov(ian). I have found this waaaaay too entertaining!
