During the big waves of privatisation in the 1980s and 1990s, the debate was framed around who can manage production more efficiently, the state or capital. Everyone bought into this frame and we forgot the more important question, which is who gets to decide what is produced, and for whose benefit.
Incredibly sad & terrifyingly true!And it all our own fault.We've made naturally occurring climate fluctuations so many times worse by ignoring,then denying,the damage we're doing to the only climate,the only planet,the only home world,we have & are ever likely to have.No one is coming to save us!
