i have never seen so much art get displaced in time like tumblr 2018. it's absolutely happened before online and offline through history but i think it made me realise how quickly and easily everything can just disappear online, for better or for worse
i still think about the tumblr ban of 2018 sometimes. they set the forest on fire and sent the ravenous creatures who lived there into the surrounding areas. now they're arguing about deltarune in the proverbial parking lots of other garbage dumps.
