'You'll choke too' - an aerial embroidery landscape inspired by all the wildfires happening right now... I'm upset every time I smell smoke outside and somehow we have people starting them maliciously too! But we all breathe the same air so they'll choke too (1/2 - see thread for close-ups)
I don't know why people aren't more freaked out about the water systems cyberattacks either. Maybe it's because they're not seeing any evidence of it, and/or they don't understand what a cyberattack can do. But apparently it's at least a dozen states now. abcnews.com/US/12-states...

On the other hand, my thesis for the Charlie Daniels Band's smash hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is that the Devil deliberately loses the contest because one catchy tune about how a mediocre fiddlist can out fiddle the devil is worth way more than a single fiddler's soul.
There's a couple of quotes I've been thinking about an awful lot the past couple of days, because reasons. The first is, "To be Irish is to know that in the end the world will break your heart."
The second is, "Make art. Make art". They're intrinsically related but I'm a little too heartbroken to explain myself. Know this though, the world WILL break your heart but even in that there is joy to be found. And if you make art, you will heal yourself.

The oldest cat whose name we know lived 3000 years ago and belonged to a priest. In the priests tomb they found a mural with the cat sitting underneath his the priests chair/throne. The kitty's name was nedjem which meant sweet or pleasant one (maybe even sweetie)
