I had a new patient this morning who told me she buys old headboards as grave “markers” for her dogs. She plans a them in the backyard so they’re always in bed with her. (Yes sometimes patients go in unexpected directions!) She was so sincere… it made me sob. I wish I’d thought of this myself 💔
