Help! Seeded two delicata winter squash along w 6 other varieties. One is growing delicata. The other is growing the monster on the right. It’s not a butternut. Totally different leaves and no tendrils. I’ve looked at every chart I can and bupkis! I think it’s a crossed seed I got by mistake?

Yesterday I got lucky w 2.5lbs of salmon for $20. Cut into filets I will fold to even thickness. That’s dinner for 3, a dinner for 2, and 2 stackable sections for a Fall Wellington for three. Add rice and a veggie, that’s less than $10 per meal vs $120 at a restaurant. Buy in bulk learn to freeze!

Tonight we are having teriyaki chicken thighs, Ina Garten's snap peas recipe (fresh from the garden), MD sweet corn on the cob and parmesan risotto. Every once in a while I make completely random meals with zero thought to ethnicity or palette. Keeps 'em guessing! 😂What's on your table?

Five weeks ago I received some cuttings from a neighbor’s two fig tree varieties. Five weeks of patience, rooting hormone and a cup later, I’ve grown a tiny fig tree! The two larger ones are starting roots as well! They will be houseplants for a year. But good things come to those who wait. ❤️

OMG you guys!!! Living in my own world I thought Father's Day with THIS Sunday! I had already planned and purchased his favorite dinner foods for the weekend! Tonight was bacon cheese smash burgers, then chicken parm with homemade baguette, then flank steak all with salad from the garden!

Encouraging the squash to produce more I picked the first patty pan and round zucchini. They are so buttery at this stage. Also rescued a fallen Roma. While out there grabbed some kale dill cilantro and basil to encourage more growth! My happy place. 💕😋

OMG! For father's day I ordered this bc hubs mentioned how nice it would be to sit by the pool in the evening and read comfortably. It just arrived. A) it's in three boxes bigger than I can lift. B) they dropped it in the center of the driveway where he parks. C) pic is on the box! SURPRISE! NOT!😂
