We spent some time this week thinking about our best moments of P4.
We loved opening our time capsule that we made at the very start of P4. We couldn’t believe how much we have changed over the year.
This afternoon we were working on our cooking skills by making noodles and crispy cakes.
Yesterday we completed the first page of our World Cup booklets, learning about Haiti. To end the day, we added our miles to the 500 mile challenge.
We loved our Scotland day celebrating the Scotland football team!
We had such a fun day at the science centre!
This week we had Terra doing their class talks. We learned about horses, Minecraft, football, fidgets and gymnastics

Another great afternoon listening to our class talks. We learned about bees, fidgets, art, charity walks, pets, Thai boxing and CBeebies.

We had some more confident class talks last week from Aqua. We learned about football, space, animals and our families.
What a fantastic night we had at our Summer Fayre! Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our school enterprise projects. Thanks to your support, we raised an amazing total of £601 in school and £230 in ELC. With the highest profit, P4 were crowned Entrepreneurs of the Term.

What a super start to our class talks. We learned about pets, basketball, wrestling and holidays.
We have been learning about magnetism. We used magnets to find magnetic objects in the school.
We were learning about fire safety during outdoor learning and enjoyed making popcorn on the campfire.
We were learning about the forces push and pull. We had to work with a partner to make an elephant using those forces.

We shared our all learning about Global Goal 13 Climate Action at our Global Goals assembly this week.
As part of our learning about global goal 13, we organised a walk to school week. We loved having the opportunity to use our bikes and scooters at lunchtime. On Friday, we collected in everyone’s charts and looked to see how many more children walked to school.
Today we created an electrical circuit and were able to make a lightbulb light up.
We took part in a finance workshop today learning about shopping and advertising.
We started our new topic, Electricity, this week. We were learning what electricity is and how to stay safe around it. We also went on a scavenger hunt to find electrical appliances powered by battery and mains.
Last week we were learning how to take notes from watching a video. We then used this to help us write an explanation text about climate change.
We did an experiment to help us learn about the greenhouse effect. We measured temperature using a thermometer and recorded our results.
