One narrative not getting enough attention following Tuesday’s primary in MA: The state’s Black & Latino Legislative Caucus will likely grow from 26 to 30 members in January—the largest membership in its 53-year history.

Yet another reason both parties should be paying attention to the evolving Latino vote. At least anecdotally, religion still seems to play a meaningful role in shaping the political views of many Latinos in MA. Or maybe that’s changing. Love to see more data on this. www.axios.com/2026/08/02/s...

Young Latinos abandoning churches to be religious "nones"

The exodus among Catholics has meant that legacy parishes, schools and congregations are struggling to survive in the Sun Belt.

This is what happens when a generation internalizes the cost of American intervention in the Middle East. We’ve seen this cycle before.

Some 27% of Americans approve of Trump's attack on Iran, while 43% disapprove and 29% are not sure, per new poll by @reuters.com and @ipsosus.bsky.social. More than half think Trump uses too much military force, including a quarter of Republicans. www.reuters.com/world/us/jus...

My father — a proud Boricua — loved Puerto Rico with all his heart. He’s no longer with us, but I felt him during that performance. Watching my sons dance in the living room, I saw the generational story Bad Bunny told come alive right in front of me. Overwhelmed with joy rn.🇧🇷🇵🇷🇺🇸

Honored to be named among the #ALX100 — 100 incredible Latinos y Latinas leading with power, spirit, and corazón. Grateful for the support of my 90 West family — the best comms team in MA! Gracias to the We Are ALX team for uplifting our voices. Can’t wait to celebrate together!

Almost 50% of Latinos voted for Trump in 2024. Experts have theories

Some saw the Senator Padilla event as a partisan altercation. Latinos saw something different. @mikemadrid.bsky.social brilliantly captures the struggle. “Not even an MIT graduate who is a U.S. senator for his home state has a secure seat at the American table.“ www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Latinos Vote Differently Under Threat

Voters who care most about economic issues will still coalesce as an ethnic bloc if their community is attacked.
