What is it with all the amazing fictional women I’m seeing on here this week? My goodness. Right as I’m in the middle of drafting my first story in a while as well. The universe keeps feeding me inspiration to make my characters more insane.
Daughterwife and I are having to move out of our apartment for a week while repairs are being done. Upside of this is that the place we’re staying is ritzy as fuck. Time to grab a good book and laze around on the patio enjoying that rich person fantasy life for a bit <3
Finally doing some serious writing after a long break and fuck, it feels like spreading wings again. I don’t care if it’s good or bad this is what I was made to do.
Have had people make comments like this to me both online and in person and it always grinds my gears. Like no puppy I’m not going to give up my personality so I can be your fantasy full-time. My cruelty and my silliness are equally divine and I deserve to be worshipped for both actually

I think in general I'm a big fan of sincerity in art, which isn't to say there's no place for archness, knowingness, metafiction etc, just that I think even they are best approached from an internal confidence and sincerity. And that works of fiction that pre-critique their premise seem insecure.
Fuck making your story "realistic". It's a vaguely defined term. Instead make your story "Internally consistent". Make sure everything makes sense in the story using the rules you established. If you break those rules, make sure the readers know that you are aware it's a break.
The universe spent 30 years telling me not to be a weird or horny or trans. Then I started transitioning anyway and wrote a book about fucked up angel smut, and now I'm the happiest I've ever been. Just interesting to consider.
