I got this wonderful drawover done by @kineia3, on a photo taken by @mossmaker.bsky.social during a trip we took together earlier this year. I really love how it turned out a lot, it's one of my favorite photos of myself and Kineia did an incredible job of fitting my sona into it :neofox_happy:

would anyone have any recommendations for furry artists that would be open for drawover comms? I have a photo that I think I would like to have a drawover of my sona with, but I can't immediately think of any artists that are open for that sort of work :neofox_laugh_sweat:

hand-developed my first roll of black and white film today _and_ got color photos back from the darkroom today too :neofox_happy: it is a very good day and I'm really happy with how things are turning out

[modrinth acquisition, musing] perhaps this is naive of me, but seeing modrinth get acquired like that makes me think that there needs to be a better solution for mod distribution than individual bespoke services. It'd be interesting if something like Linux package repos could be looked at and […]

You might think working a phone repair kiosk is a waste of my skills. Yeah nah. Today, this kid came in with an iPhone that was more than cracked, it was banana-fied. “What happened?” I asked, turning the wreckage over in my hands. I don’t think there was a single salvageable part. “And have […]

question for anyone that knows activitypub more than me the entire time I've been on fedi I've seen posts asking to be boosted to improve a new instance's federation, but.. boosting a post doesn't actually improve an instance's federation at all, does it? other than making other instances aware […]

In the _Starfleet Technical Manual_ , there is a throwaway detail of the LCARS user interface that when it is upgraded, users can still utilize the previous several versions. This is because their work is mission-critical and it is unacceptable to compromise the mission by forcing unfamiliar […]
