Ended up running into a friend at the Eagle on Saturday who I'd not spoken with for about a year. We ended up meeting last night to get tea and just kind of caught up. It was nice.

Sam Neill has passed away at the age of 78

I dreaded going back to Kentucky this weekend for my sister's wedding. Growing up there and coming out wasn't fun. My family hasn't been the most accepting or welcoming. BUT yesterday my mom actually introduced my husband to people as my husband for the first time in the 3 years we've been married.

These loan prorations are going to be the death of me.

Just finished my Wheel of Time reread and I'm already sad it's over 😔

Between Google IO and WWDC, this is the most boring year of software updates. 🙄

And officially moved out of my old apartment. I’m exhausted

Well I subbed to Apple Music and I’ll say it’s not bad but I still think I like the algorithms on YTM better. Giving it a few months regardless

Had a second round interview today for this job I really want (the pay raise would be at least $20k a year 😍) and I think it went pretty well. Later in the day, one of the people who interviewed me added me on LinkedIn… sooooo good sign?

I lost a friend last night. We were close back in the Twitter days & was instrumental in convincing me to first visit & then move to Chicago. But as it goes, we eventually drifted apart, staying in touch here & there. He’d been sick for a while & spending much of last year in & out of hospitals.
