We don't play JUST APE Games here at APE Games. It's my b-day this wekeend and my stepson got me Corps of Discovery from @offthepagegames.bsky.social . Also my Inis legendary Kickstarter from Kolossal Games (nice APE logo) and Matagot arrived. Maybe I'll get a chance to try them over Thanksgiving!

Those waiting for the start of the Pampero season 2 Kickstarter will need to wait a bit longer. We've moved the date from mid-Nov to Jan. :( There's been great interest in the campaign, but not all the pieces are ready yet and backer support is generally reduced in December.

Nothing helps move a game design forward like being trapped for 28 hours in a car with your co-designer! My Godmaker co-designer and I drove from WI->AZ, stopping only for gas and switch drivers every 4 hours. We nailed down what we need to do to finish season 1 and beyond.

My family likes trick-taking games. I discovered Trick Taking in Black and White by Decoct Design in Japan and shared it with my parents (in their mid-80's) last night. I struggle to find good new games we can play together anymore, but this was a hit! I couldn't find a real copy, so made my own.
