I think this might be the most interest I’ve seen for vhope in a while (bird app and here combined)! I guess there’s something in the air…. Makes me want to open up a doc and write tho, so I’m not complaining!

Haven’t managed to catch any of the LA Concerts in full yet but the clips I have caught tell me that there was something in the LA air and it affected all of them, but especially Taehyung 😆
I’ve come to the realisation it’s Jin who always goads Taehyung until they’re basically playing chicken, and it’s always Jin who loses 😂

Alright, so it didn’t want to let me sleep for very long. Diabolical, really. I think I might have to give in to a weekend of sniffles. Ugh.

Unsuccessfully it would seem, for the sniffle has encroached upon my throat which now itches & expanded to blocked noses, throwing in some coughs to keep me from the bliss that is sleep. 🤞🏼phlegm doesn’t plan to stop by tomorrow 🫠

I’ve come to realise I’m big on freezing food. I make pizzas? I make extra to freeze. Stuffed buns? Extra to freeze. Spare veggies/herbs exotic to my area? I freeze Right now, I’m calculating how much Thai curry paste I want to make tomorrow because, big surprise, I freeze that too!
Wish I could go ‘say it ain’t so’ but sadly, 2026 has not been the year for it. It’s really been pushing limits. R.I.P Dolly Parton 🕊️ She was a bright light who always left me delighted when she came across my screens and I’ll remain grateful for it all.

I have four snippets to finish Rayleigh’s Interlude Part I and it’ll end up at that 15-16k mark at least. When I finish Part II, I’m anticipating 25-30k overall. Tell me why I’m giving this mofo his own novella within the saga that is RtR 💀 it’s really obvious that I am my own editor sometimes
It’s very much a me thing!! As the years have passed, I’ve come to realise there are some preferences I can’t shake off, some that have evolved & some that never grabbed my interest. I also don’t opt for high school aus or lapslock fics or 1st person POV. For me, pistilverse is just in that corner.
I have made the mistake of binging Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2 months too early 😅 Once I catch up with these next couple episodes, I’m gonna have to wait for weekly releases 🫠 and then a whole year (presumably) to finish the series. Maybe I was a full year too early.
This has crossed the 10k mark, I’ve still got like 60% of it to go, and I’m lowkey wondering if I’m writing a doomed bromance or doomed romance 💀
aporias@aporias.bsky.social · last mo.I’m currently writing Rayleigh’s RtR interludes, & since it’s heavily OC because it begins ~40 years ago, it’s almost like I’m writing an original story, and I haven’t done that in a long time. It’s kinda nice. (But also, the urge to write the vhope/yoonjin fic I’ve thought up, ugh)
