Find this Rupert Knickerbocker beer bottle in the walls at the curling club bar last night. The brewery originally closed in 1965, but the rights were bought out in 1966 and was brewed into the early 70's, so there's a chance this beer bottle has been hiding in the walls since the club was built!

Eldest wanted to do a daddy & her thing before starting college and wanted to get some ink, so she set us up to get a golden ratio design as a nod to liking photography and a hint of Japanese heritage. I did say I'd be game for anything as long as it wasn't a pair of hairy cock and balls though...

BOO raffle prizes, I might be failing to get other event organizers interested in making baskets to advertise their events, or other clubs, but I did get a local car detailing place offer a basic exterior cleaning and they're mobile. Could do with more nationwide places though.

Hey golfing friends. The BOO in October is fundraiser again & there's going to be a bunch of cool raffle prizes, including this $100 gift card donated by Dr Greens Golf, a really nice golf simulator place, with a bar! They're located in Westborough and Ashland, but will open in Norwood in the fall.

Hot damn, this is exciting. Prohibition Pig out of Waterbury, VT is a great little brewery that are now distributed through one of the folks I use for the curling club. Little Fluffy Clouds is a great 5.6% pale ale at a great price in logs and cases. I'll have to add this to my rotation.

Last night, falafel and chip wrap for the win, and I know, keto wrap to reduce carbs with chips is rather ironic, but hit the spot nicely when craving a chip butty. Home made chips with the air fryer worked great. Soak the spuds was key, then tossed in a bowl with OO, salt and rosemary.

Have been soliciting donations from local businesses for raffle prizes at the BOO, as we normally raise money for community, this time for a junior team expenses to go to worlds. The awesome tiny taco place down the street is donating a $150 gift card. Can't love those Yo!BocaTaco people more!

A pre-final beverage in the sun. Alien Observer, a gose style sour ale with dragon fruit, grapefruit, and sea salt at 5% from Foam Brewers in Burlington, VT. This is a superb refreshing summer beer, but one of their more pricy options.

Well that was crazy. For a game that didn't matter. Deschamp retires, so I'd have been okay with him taking it. But Bellingham gave up a penalty attempt at Saka could get a hat trick and become the third player to get a world cup medal match hat trick. 1/2

For folks curling at the BOO, we're hosting raffle prizes to raise money to our junior girls team to help with expenses of going to worlds in the new year. I've secured an Endgame broom as one of the prizes, and a few beer related items, including a smoker.

So #curling folks who were interested in the BOO, with registration closing last evening after it opened last Friday, we had 41 teams register. With reigning champ, and murder mystery winner from last yr not able to do it, we opened up 2 more external spots, with one reserved at board request. 1/2

Oh boy. Just checked beer prices for first time in a while, to get a rough outline for starting up the curling club bar in the fall, after some portal changes. Some crazy price hikes on some club staples, while others haven't. Minimum order requirements are also tricky. This is going to be tough.

Been at the curling club since 730am for the bar ice machine delivery window 12-4pm. An update saying it'll be here within the hour. Also, Coke tech that was supposed to be here between 730-130, the reason we're here so early, never showed. BOO registration has been smooth so far at least.
