Cosplayer, over-employed, burnt out and thriving enigma with far too many hobbies.

As a girl who's seen her fair share of marvel movies. I hold generally unpopular opinions about the mcu. 1) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever >>>>>> first Black Panther. 2) I actually really liked the Thunderbolts up until the last 2 minutes. 3) Moon Knight was the best of the tv shows.

I've been in a really weird headspace with #Chess lately. I feel my praxis has been stalling. Responding to early checkmates is a huge weakness of mine. My rival has been drilling this lesson into me, but I keep on stumbling in the same manner. I guess its been making me feel inadequate.

The Furious (2026) was a kung fu movie filmed as a horror flick. Frankly, it worked. The action was fast and kinetic, the dreadful lighting really added to the ambience. Highly recommended if you are into martial arts films like The Raid(2011) or Oldboy(2003)

Still from The Furious of three men engaged in a fight.

Almost to the third month of #Japanese, now with the goal of passing the N5 later this year. Also started writing it as well. Adjectives are absolutely wacky in the sheer amount of ways you can arrange them in a sentence. Like what if a verb sentence was an adjective for your subject. Bonkers

I need to cosplay more in life, more expression, it gives me joy unlike any other. First finishing Trieze, and then more creations from then. Even doing a small game for the tenth gmtk game jam next month. Creating really makes life incredible.

I'm glad I found my love for learning again. Yet in group practice, it can be miserable feeling like you are holding others back. I'm trying to figure out how to get over my shame but it's still a struggle when you're reminded how pathetic you are.

"The only person who's struggling here... Is me" as Yo-il from Who's That Girl works for the monthly examination.

Last night in the #Japanese study group I was asked if I was dyslexic. And that statement has been uncomfortably rattling in the brain since. I don't think I am, never an issue with English. But I seem to be having a notably worse time separating out where a word ends and begins in the genki books.

#Goth peeps have some incredible powers of observation. I can be at the comic book store, unkempt in the most no effort, boy-moding fit and somehow they see right through it. I don't even say anything but it's girl/she/her when they strike a conversation. I don't think I'm male failing either.

I know rationally, that the prolonged after care of bottom surgery is my hangup. But god I see that bulge in the dolphin shorts and I'm ready for rapid inversion of my junk. Medical science needs more funding.

4th week of #Japanese study group covering into chapter 3 of Genki. At first it felt like I hit a wall with all of the grammar it throws at you but was introduced to Dolly cure videos. I cannot recommend her lessons enough, absolutely got me to understand verb conjugations.
