It's *finally* nap time. Oscar was playing too hard and made his brother squeal. So Lucy came out to retrieve him and give Archer a break.
Let's have some Archer content to start the weekend, eh?
Chillaxin' on this Tuesday with Lucy Sparkles and Oscar.
Every afternoon, Oscar wakes up from his nap by rolling, grunting, and scratching on top of the cat tree. (You may have to turn sound up quite a bit to hear him...but, in person, he is noisy.)
Taking turns with neighbourhood watch this morning...but always supportive of one another.
Archer spends every afternoon sleeping in the sun by this window. He sighs loudly with every stretch and reposition. He makes his body as long as possible and does not like to share the space.
Riley lives two doors down. He is a frequent visitor at the front door. He would like to be friends with my clowder, but upon conferring amongst themselves, have decided that they're not feeling it. 😂
Oscar still loves this toy he brought with him from TK a year ago. He plays with it every day and wakes me up a few times each night by dropping it on my head so I will throw it for him to fetch.
I brought these handsome boys 1 year ago today. Time has really flown!
Happy 10th Gotchaversary to ✨️Lucy Sparkles✨️. Originally named Marina June by the cat rescue org (because she was found at a boat marina in June), she has added so much magic to my life, as well as for two special boys (who will have their Gotchaversary next week). We're so glad you're here!
Archer has decided it's more fun to play with this toy by dragging it around by its power button, then trying to stuff the whole toy inside the scratcher or in a box. 😂
Some have wondered if either of the boys do the awkward love tackle of their mother, Edie. The answer is "not quite." Oscar does a horse-like rearing up, which is very endearing.
Lucy Sparkles takes time to snuggle and bathe each of the boys, in addition to wrassling lessons every day. Archer is especially starting to see her as something more than a big toy and is enjoying hanging out with her in different places and times.
When you're too tired after snoopervising window washing to pull your tongue all the way into your mouth for your nap.
These two are keeping company beside me today. Oscar loves Lucy Sparkles a lot. She thinks he's all right for a boy.

We're enjoying some fresh air and watching the sun set this evening.
I keep trying to get a sample of the 🚨 Archerhorn 🚨. He does not like me to take a shower because I am not within eyesight. (Lucky him! 😂) But he lets an alert rip, boops me, or climbs on me to convince me to stay with him. ¡Pobrecito!
Happy Happy Birthday to my two amazing boys. I can't believe it's been a whole year since I watched you be born. Lucy was on my lap and I told her you would be her brothers. I had no way of knowing that wish would come true, but we're both so glad you're part of our family. ❤️ 🎂 🎉🎈

I just had to fix a spot underneath the sofa where a small boy cat had torn a hole and both small boy cats were getting inside the sofa to play. This small boy cat in particular is super-bored now.
