To celebrate Black History Month, we wanted to look back at the journey of our traveling exhibition "Here, Black, Femme, & Queer!" This exhibit intentionally focuses on joy and shines a light on the lives and legacies of Black, femme, & queer people from right here in Kentucky.

This collection is one of FMA's strongest examples of protest, showcasing young activists fighting against FBI surveillance and interrogation of LGBTQ individuals. It was recently part of our "Queer Gear" exhibit at the University of Kentucky, and will be a part of our upcoming #250Lex exhibition!
