While OoT would probably be more fitting for a cozy autumn Sunday morning stream, I think I'll stick with Control Resonant for now. Join me today @ 10 AM EDT. www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa... (OoT fans, don't worry. It's not abandoned! I'll get back to it this week @ 10 AM on Tues and Thurs.)

For those who don't know, Twitch has achievements for streamers. (YouTube does too for certain milestones. I just hit 1000 hours streamed, which honestly feels pretty good! 🎉😁🎉 There's one more level for the "The empire business" achievement, level 4 at 2000 hours streamed. Goals for next year.

I've been MIA re: streaming this week. Let's fix that with a late night Friday stream. Control Resonant? Yeah, let's do that! Tonight @ 11:30 PM EDT! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Do people still watch SNL? Because I'm offering some live counterprogramming tonight @ 11 EDT. It's me! Streaming Control Resonant. Why watch me instead of SNL? Because video games are dope, that's why. And SNL sucks. Unless you mean [insert favorite cast era.] www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

I'm live, starting my playthrough of Control Resonant. Super psyched! If you've not yet checked out Remedy's games and connected universe, give them a go! You won't be sorry. Join me on twitch! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Tonight I'll be streaming a short Foundation: Galactic Frontier Shadowfront battle @ 7 EDT. Then, later tonight, I get to start Control Resonant! My expectations are sky high coming off Wake 2. But by and large It sure seems to have impressed fans and critics so far. www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Last time on Alan Wake II, I got the "you are entering the end game" warning to get all my exploring done before there is no turning back. So today I shall explore! There's bound to be plenty of items I missed. The crossbow, for example... I'm live today @ 5:30 EDT! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Tuesday mornings mean a retro selection is on deck, and today's agenda continues my OoT playthrough. The Shadow Temple is gonna fall today, I can feel it! 😈 Come and see for yourself and prove me right (or wrong) today @ 10 AM EDT www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

I am pleased to say that today's stream is on schedule to be, uh, on schedule! Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I play a modern title. In today's case, that's Alan Wake II. Even more specifically, I'm currently exploring The Lake House DLC. Join me today @ 5:30 EDT! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Up for some Wake 2 this Sunday? I know I am! Join me at 6:00 PM EDT today as we forge ahead with Saga and Alan. Can I get to Control Resonant before the internet serves up some spoilers? I can sure as hell try! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Locking in on Alan Wake II. It was a toss up between more Wake or more of OoT, but diving further into the Remedyverse has a bit more than appeal than the OoT Shadow Temple. Especially with Control Resonant waiting for me to finish! So off I go, live today @ 6:30 EDT www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

This Saturday morning I'm serving up a Foundation: Galactic Frontier PVP face off, as we have our bi-weekly, server vs server battle. Our server, 1122, vs server 1117 as we compete for glory and control of the central star. So join me at 10 AM EDT for space kaboom! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Time for Round Two of my double header, as we shift to modern and horror/mystery withAlan Wake II! Followed by Shadowfront PVP in Foundation: Galactic Frontier @ 7 EDT www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Today is supposed to be a "retro" day, according to my schedule. But I am overruling OoT in favor of more Alan Wake II (in the interests of getting to Control Resonant ASAP.) So join me today at noon EDT. I finally got past those damn deputies last time, so, progress! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

I got stuck for hours last night fighting the same two guys! 👺👺👺 I was truly living up to my namesake of failing at games. But there's nothing to be done for it but to try again the next day. It is now the next day. So join me @ 11:00 AM EDT for more Alan Wake 2. www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

A few unsourced websites list TODAY as the Master System's 40th anniversary. Even if that is not correct, I say: Happy anniversary, you weird and wonderful little system. (I still think the gridded box design is pretty striking when you see it all displayed in force.)

40 years ago: Sega Master System arrived in America with an ad campaign that made it look like the coolest thing ever. (It was, in fact, pretty cool.)

More Alan Wake? More Alan Wake! Control Resonant seems to be getting good early reviews, so it only makes sense to Remedyverse out over the next four days before release. Join me tonight @ 8:30 EDT as we unravel the mystery and the horror with Alan and Saga. www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

More Alan Wake 2 tonight. Sure it's a spoopy game with cults and ritual killing, monsters and Dark, Mysterious Forces . But don't be afraid! Have Courage, join us and come and watch! Starts at 6:30 EDT! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Beat my shadow self up last time, and managed to navigate to the end of the Water Temple. Now, the Boss battle awaits this morning, then onwards and downwards into the depths of the next temple. Join me this morning at 11 AM for more of OoT "Classic." www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

Tonight, at 5:30 PM EDT, Alan Wake II continues. Can I finish it before the 24th, when the new game in the Remedyverse, Control Resonant, is released? I'm sure as hell gonna try! Join me, and watch and see! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

So. Sticking to my streaming schedule has proved challenging so far. I missed yesterday's 10 AM morning retro slot entirely. So I'm going to make it up today! (As well as stream Alan Wake II later tonight @ 5:30) So join me as Ocarina of Time goes on! Today @ 10 AM EDT www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...

New science fiction story: An alien rescue team comes across a Human spaceship with dead engines drifting to nowhere. Oddly, none of the passengers seem to know they’re in space. A 15-minute read. dnschmidt.com/science-fict...

While digging into Control Resonant I also learned there’s a Silent Hill Townfall ARG!! We’re eating good now. www.reddit.com/r/silenthill...

More Alan Wake II tonight. Can I beat it before Control Resonant comes out? I probably can! (Well, depending on if I get stuck.) I have high hopes for this game. It's still early but so far, it's definitely delivering. In any case, join me tonight at 5:30 EDT! www.twitch.tv/oldmanfailsa...
