As we're half way through the year, I went over my Letterboxd stats to get my current top 10. I'm a bit disappointed,tbh. Felt like I've been to the cinema more this year then recent years at this point, but this doesn't feel like a Best Of list. Roll on the 2nd half of the year.
NGL, I love this. Seems like a couple of entitled jerks didn't know when to quit about something minor, doubled down on being jerks and ended up with a £150k bill as a result. Makes me wonder how much I'd put up with from shitty neighbours if it meant I got £150k out of it 10 years later.

Looking at my favourites list of 2026 films, and there's a non-zero percent chance that come the end of the year THE SHEEP DETECTIVES is going to end up in my top 3. Possibly higher. That's unexpected.
Watching HARRY BROWN. Because Michael Caine is a legend and I've not seen this one before.
Got a bunch of WIPER AND TRUE beers from my brother in law so trying one out. this one's a Milk Stout, which I've never had before. Apparently milk stout used to be recommended to nursing mothers, which is probably not the case today. Although at 5.6% it likely has enough calories to give me boobs.
So it was The Odyssey a few days ago, so what better film you follow that up with than a probably utter shit new Netflix Kevin Hart movie where Kevin Hart plays that Kevin Hart character Kevin Hart always plays. Now Watching Kevin Hart in 72 Hours. Bet it takes less time than that to forget it.

I liked Tom Holland in Odyssey. He seems to get some stick for it, but I thought it fit the part pretty well. I don't think any performances were below-par, particularly. The biggest issue with the performances was more with the script and the amount of screentime everyone not called Matt Damon got.

I've been playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey for a while as I've not played an AC game in a long time at I get too involved in side quests and the game takes months. So I told myself 'I'll just stick to the main story this time'...
Due to some incredibly poor foresight on my part, I have gone from this view yesterday to this one this morning, having only got home to my bed at 2am. It's even an old empty mug as I've not had time to go get milk yet before getting back to work. This is awful. How do I do this to myself?
Been holidaying in the sun this week. Finished this book and wishing I'd picked up the 2nd in the series too, as it was a great fun read. Also kind of makes me want to read Jane Eyre too.
