More film photos. Feel like I'm starting to get the hang of things
First time shooting on film! Found a camera from the 70s while helping my parents clean out their attic and told me I could have it. Lot of lessons learned. Figured Kodak #gold200 was a good start
DID YOU KNOW that I watched ONE (1) studio-created pre-release featurette about the making of an upcoming movie and now I'm uncritically parroting their talking points from the featurette back to you my loyal audience and adding ZERO (0) context or analysis
I can't get over how heartbreaking this is. I feel like my day is ruined.
Ah, so Andy Weir is like... *dumb* dumb gizmodo.com/andy-weir-st...
WHAT ARE YOU DOING NY TIMES YOU DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GOTTA HAND IT TO MTG
I showed my parents OBAA for the first time as Christmas Movie tonight and I think they loved it. This may be a sleeper Christmas classic yet
Dad suggested we rewatch One Battle After Another for Christmas so I guess this is technically a Christmas movie now
Every time I've tried to draw over the past few years I felt like I kept hitting a wall but I think embracing color finally unlocked something in my brain
First time hosting thanksgiving this year :) Was actually far less of a headache than I thought it'd be
Being suddenly unemployed means going out and deliberately filming shots for your reel #vfx
Folks reasonably assume footage from behind-the-scenes featurettes are "truth", but it is now standard practice for studios to alter footage from "making-of" videos. (These gray screens are actually blue screens on the set of "Superman" (2025).)
Been slowly making my way through Houdini and made my first sim!
heartwarming: the worst people you know are having a terrible day
Engagement pics finally came in and I touched up this one a lil bit 🥰
I had an 'Oops! All 6s' in my deck and it still gave me a "Nope!" like 4 times in a row. I wanted to throw my phone at a brick wall
You should go for it

I love Bluesky but I'm missing the petty drama. If you rotate your phone clockwise to watch YouTube videos and not counterclockwise you're a maniac

Me flocking to bluesky to stop seeing screenshots of Elon's tweets to start seeing screenshots of Elon's tweets again
Every time someone repeats the totally incorrect myth that "CGI" is cheaper than practical effects—it's not and that's a ridiculous statement—'because "CGI" isn't unionized,' they're unwittingly giving ammunition to studios who are arguing that unionization would be bad for the industry (it's not).
