I don’t like CHSN repeatedly showing a crying child on broadcast, and I am sort of surprised so many people are okay with, at best, turning a child into a meme or, at worst, making fun of a child.

I knew the 2027 MLB schedules dropping would inspire a bunch of “lol lockout” comments. And I do get it from a fan’s perspective if you’re using humor to cope with frustration. But also, from someone whose household IS v v v financially dependent on an MLB season happening, please be mindful lol

Bottom of the sixth at Wrigley, I couldn’t see the scoreboard at all. Fog cleared up enough that the scoreboard is visible, and then the umpires put this game into a delay lol.

Never feel guilty for borrowing books from a library. Authors LOVE libraries. And libraries pay authors a small sum every time one of their books is borrowed (which in many cases comes to more than the percentage earned from the sale of a book in a discount outlet)...

I used to be nervous about telling authors I got their books out of the library. But every author has always been so supportive. Which is to say I've bought one of Tom's books and loved it and taken one out of the library and am really looking forward to reading it.

I do love finding my co-workers' social media pages because they're always filled with "Here's me doing this cool thing" content - juxtaposed to my social media pages, which are always just like "This sports team makes me want to [redact] myself."

“It’s only 19 games into the season-“ yeah yeah, and Chris Getz has been part of the Sox organization since 2017 with little success to show for it. You absolutely can make a judgment call on that man.
