Cookie Monster is the only celebrity allowed to do the stretch at Wrigley.
Everyday I log into social media and see the dumbest baseball takes imaginable.
I don’t like CHSN repeatedly showing a crying child on broadcast, and I am sort of surprised so many people are okay with, at best, turning a child into a meme or, at worst, making fun of a child.
Mentally preparing to fight chuds if Patrick Kane does come back to Chicago
me listening to the Cubs game on the radio: nothing is ever as funny as Zach Zaidman thinks it is
This World Cup has taught my children to viscerally hate Argentina, a valuable life skill.
I knew the 2027 MLB schedules dropping would inspire a bunch of “lol lockout” comments. And I do get it from a fan’s perspective if you’re using humor to cope with frustration. But also, from someone whose household IS v v v financially dependent on an MLB season happening, please be mindful lol
Do enjoy that Rizzo is at the Derby just cheering for all former 2016 Cubs.
Bottom of the sixth at Wrigley, I couldn’t see the scoreboard at all. Fog cleared up enough that the scoreboard is visible, and then the umpires put this game into a delay lol.
only the best and most accurate analysis here, folks
My expert baseball analysis: the 2026 Cubs make no damn sense
I hope every detail about the Taylor wedding is true, for humor purposes. We need laughs in these trying times.
You know how insane it is that the Rockies set a franchise record for runs scored at a ballpark that is not /Coors/
Definitely judging people who use AI to try to make dumb/funny sports posts. Do poor Photoshop like the rest of us.
Every time I listen to a Sox broadcast, I remain amazed at the people who insist this is a good product.
Never feel guilty for borrowing books from a library. Authors LOVE libraries. And libraries pay authors a small sum every time one of their books is borrowed (which in many cases comes to more than the percentage earned from the sale of a book in a discount outlet)...
I used to be nervous about telling authors I got their books out of the library. But every author has always been so supportive. Which is to say I've bought one of Tom's books and loved it and taken one out of the library and am really looking forward to reading it.
Somehow this got even more accurate after today’s game.
genuinely hilarious to me that the Cubs pitching staff is like two guys and a pack of band-aids, and they just can't stop winning
Hey go check out the AL Central standings if you wanna get hives
I do love finding my co-workers' social media pages because they're always filled with "Here's me doing this cool thing" content - juxtaposed to my social media pages, which are always just like "This sports team makes me want to [redact] myself."
“It’s only 19 games into the season-“ yeah yeah, and Chris Getz has been part of the Sox organization since 2017 with little success to show for it. You absolutely can make a judgment call on that man.
Me, becoming an old person watching a ballgame: Back in my day, pitchers fielded their position!!
