I am reinstalling Destiny 2. As if I don't have enough shooty fun with Outriders, right now. But, I'm pretty much exclusively duoing the Outriders story with my kid. Destiny 2, I can and will solo. Speaking of Outriders, look at this big boy! Sure we'll go up against him, at some point.

Started playing Outriders with my kid. It's fun! Enjoying running around and shooting baddies. Picked devastator as my class. Love the kinetic leap. Satisfying to land in a group of mobs and mess them up. Only thing that trips me up is using space to take cover. Keep trying to dodge using that.

Fuck my life. The Honda is currently in the shop because it stopped starting, last week. (Bad starter.) This morning, the Jeep won't start. Right before Xmas, too. I know I already have a ~$550 bill for the Honda, when I get it back. The Jeep can just sit in the driveway until tax returns.
I need to remove "arena shooter" from my ignored list in Steam. I realized, today, that it's hiding a lot of bullet heaven games that I might enjoy. Maybe my definition of arena shooter is wrong? To me, those are the competitive, PvP shooters like Overwatch.
Meh. I don't feel like sitting in front of my PC, this AM. I think I'm going to snuggle on the couch and play Dreamlight Valley until it's time for work.

Only one more perk to unlock on Merris in Death Must Die! I just can't seem to get 8 autocasts on a single run. I've made it up to 7, so... close! I love Merris, but it is so easy for her to get overwhelmed if I don't get the right offers from the gods.
Oh no. It's sleeting and my kid's school still hasn't texted about a delay or anything. If they don't delay (at least), this will be the first time they will be driving in these conditions. I know they have to face not-perfect roads eventually, but I am going to be having a little heart attack.
My kid is currently sitting behind me at their computer, doing their homework... and whistling the Morrowind music. What can I say? They have good taste in games and tunes! Now, I want to reinstall either Morrowind or ESO.

Heads up for LEGO Fortnite players: Just learned from @namaslay.bsky.social over on Threads that if you open your world to your friends and they join you, then it opens your world to THEIR friends, as well. So, you could have strangers destroying stuff and stealing from chests.
I also tried the Fortnite racing game and I like it! It's... a racing game. Every once in awhile, I'll get a wild hair to race and download something. Then, I run 5 or so tracks and I'm done. Since I am playing LEGO Fortnite, this is convenient. If I get the urge to race, it's already there.
It's official: I suck at Fortnite Festival. (It's Guitar/Band Hero.) I just can't get my fingers to do right. I see the prompts and my hands are like, "I AM CHAOS PERSONIFIED!" [hits random keys, slaps self in face, knocks over drink]
Well, dang. I didn't realize how much time had passed while I was playing. Time for me to take a shower and go get groceries. The house has pretty much nothing in it to eat, at the moment. I mean... we have some fruit bars, but that's about it.
The one thing I don't like about LEGO Fortnite is that you can't move items once they have been built. You have to destroy them and rebuild, which can be a pain for large structures.
