I desperately need to ship one of the games I'm working on soon... both games are at the polish/balance stage of development, which I hate, and I lack the discipline to work on them for more than an hour a day so, I'm starting a new project so I don't waste all my time going on youtube lol.

I decided to do a very quiet launch of the alpha version of sideways chairs and I'm glad I did cause after I uploaded the first hotfix a user reported that the game wouldn't start. found the bug and fixed it. Turns out it was some changes I made to the way resources were loaded.

I've known for a while that letterboxd was compromised, but I'm still suprised that they are going so far as to censor reviews at the behest of a movie studio. Basically just an advertising platform for shitty american movies now like imdb, but somehow with even less integrity.

I'm still working on Sideways Chairs (A factory automation game), and I hope to have an alpha version ready relatively soon. not going to continue working on the dungeon crawler though... I realized I don't really like dungeon crawlers and turn based gameplay makes the in-game scripting unwieldy

just updated my five year old manjaro linux install (for the first time in a year) and nothing broke. I was hoping to procrastinate from getting back to work on my game for at least a few hours, maybe even a whole day, alas, it only took 15 minutes... linux has gotten too reliable...
