I saw Nitzer Ebb open for Depeche Mode in 1990, on their own in 1992 and 2019, and then headline the Terminus Festival is Calgary in 2023. Big fan since 1990 and sorry to see that Douglas McCarthy passed away today - what a loss.

The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other

The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative are outraged and appalled by the recent removal of the word 'transgender' from the Stonewall National Monument page on the National Park Service website. This blatant act of erasure not only distorts the truth of our history, but it also dishonors the immense contributions of transgender individuals - especially transgender women of color - who were at the forefront of the Stonewall Riots and the broader fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

I have gone to this music festival for the last three summers in Calgary. Great venue, great organizer, great crowd, and great music (post-punk, industrial, and various other alternative genres).

Good evening all! Although I know that Facebook’s DEI erasure and allowance of harmful language towards 2SLGBTQIA+ is starting in the US and may or may not make its way to Canada (but it will), I cannot let Meta have any of my ad dollars and so I am leaving for BlueSky. I hope to see people here.
