In the category of ‘movies centered around people that love Neil Diamond so much they make tribute bands to him” I regret to inform that I felt Saving Silverman was the marginally better movie of these two.
Finished the final season of The Bear and after five seasons of super intense stress, the relief and optimism in the finale made for an incredible conclusion. I was so worried many of these great characters wouldn't get the closure I wanted for them, but they delivered.

Finished reading the X-Men event Age of Revelation today. Not my favorite “Age Of…” event, and largely kind of a bummer across the board. BUT… I would recommend Longshots from Hickman, Duggan, and Robinson. That book was the fun one!
Today I finished my big Avengers reading project going from the main books and spinoffs (West Coast, New, Mighty, Young, Uncanny, Initative, Etc.) From the original first volume through 2018’s No Surrender/No Road Home. Roughly six months, about 1300 issues. BUT…

Just watched two modern takes on Robin Hood. Both were a bit boring and shockingly end the same way, but the 2018 one feels like a knockoff of Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur.

Spider-Noir is absolute perfection. Loved every single episode. Nicolas Cage delivering the EXACT kind of performance one wants from him, in an incredible execution of noir style and tropes. I have never wanted a second season more.
