I'm an intuitive artist writer of haiku and study Japanese Tea Ceremony. All of these help connect my inner and outer worlds. I travel the world. Author of Masayume A Dream Comes True and Myths of the Archetypes An Intuitive Tarot Guide both at lulu.com

Travel is the best thing I did in my life besides having my children. It makes a huge difference in one's understanding of life. This was a fabulous trip to South Africa in 2010 where I got to get a kiss from an elephant. Hope I get to travel a few more times before I leave this world for good.

When we were at the PAM on Friday I also saw this for the first time. It took my breath away it is so beautiful. The bottom is metal and the top is painted paper and the light is what gives it its magic. I don't know who the artist is but so grateful to them for creating this. Wanted to share.

Dana and I went to lunch at Pambeche a Cuban restaurant that's been in Portland for over 27 years. They have really great deserts and coffee. Here is the cuban coffee I ordered. It was really good. It's fun to be a foodie.

Today's tea class the tanzaku says One moment One time. It is to remind us that each moment never comes again and to enjoy and appreciate each one of them. The flowers are from my garden and I love how they bring in the season when we have tea. So grateful to my tea practice.

This is an intuitive painting that came to me in 2012. It is a Bear spirit guarding the Universe. I hope you can click on it and see the whole thing. I love the magi of it and how the metallic shines.

It's that time of year. Autumn starts to arrive. Love this gift to me from my dear friend Ellen with a haiku and a duck feather and ginkgo leaves. The haiku says I hear Autumn's arrival/ in the rustling of/ fallen leaves. Get ready the change starts now.

Missing my dear friend Georgena. She passed away last year. This was one of our fun food adventures at a dinner in the woods near Portland Oregon. Great food wine and outhouse. She was a true blessing to my life. Good times with good friends is what life is all about.

Had dinner at Island Cafe last night. They have the best fish n chips in Portland. Also had a spicy Bloody Mary. The place was totally packed and lines waiting to get in. I was by myself so sat at the bar and got right in. They close in October so go while you can. Great atmosphere.

Yupik mask I used for my logo for my intuitive painting workshops. I called my website Spirit Mask Journeys. Spent 20 years teaching painting workshops that took you on journeys deep into your self. So grateful I got to do that in my life. Love how their masks capture the magic of the world.

Ganesha in my garden. He greets you as you enter my backyard. He is a reminder of overcoming obstacles. Something we are all doing all the time. May he be with you as you go through your days.

My fabulous daughter Dana getting a certificate from cooking school in Italy. Yesterday she took me to the ER to make sure I was ok. I was having a dizzy spell that wouldn't go away. Wanted to make sure it wasn't something serious. So grateful she is there to help me when I need it. Love you Dana.
