This was so much fun to work on!! The word Meridian makes me think of the Sun, so I wanted to incorporate some sunny vibes. I mixed the design of a liver chestnut with the beautiful Okapi pattern <3 the longer I work on it, the more tempted I am to just keep them for myself ngl🤭☀️

A galloping horse with a liver chestnut coat, and okapi-like strips along the legs. A glowing sun marking is visible on their forehead and their hooves and dorsal stripe also glow the same colour

Salt Wells Creek: when I arrived for the 1st day of camping week, found the horses, and they immediately proceeded to the top of a ridge, thanks for the workout guys, I live at sea level. Cosmo and Julian did treat me to this sunset Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots session though. #photography #wildhorses

This is a series of three images just moments apart - a close up of two wild stallions, meeting in the middle of the frame and posturing with each other. The left horse is a red roan pinto and the right horse is a curly cremello. In this one, the pinto is propping with his front legs, head high to stay out of the way of the cremello horse's waving front hoof, as he returns to the ground from a rear. The image is very warm with sunset light and we see the top of another mountain ridge with patches of snow in the far background, under a dramatic deep pink-orange cloudy sky.In this image, both horses are looking at each other with heads high and necks arched, ears pricked forward.Again, heads up and necks arched, Julian on the right (cremello) has lifted his right front hoof up high; he is slightly lower on the hill top than Cosmo, the pinto. Cosmo looks at him intently but not in an unfriendly way.
