🤔 I feel like I need to draw something to prove to myself I haven't lost my touch, but I'm not sure what that would be. Any ideas?
Rough studies to see if I can make more atmospheric (strong sense of location and mood) pieces with the simpler, flatter "mid-century cartoon print" look.
Kinda cool to stop and notice a part of my process I usually do without thinking. When I start a drawing, I block in the pose pretty quickly with basic shapes and lines. Then it becomes much easier to flesh out the details over that frame. It's a sitting triceratops, btw.
😴 Pretty slow night at work. Any questions for me, as an artist or as a person?

It started with just the chewing motion, but then I kept adding other motions to it, and that definitely helped it feel more alive :)

Practicing character variation - they're all roosters, but each has a unique and distinct design.
