[MEET THE GIRLS] Meet the four otaku girls of Girlfailure Art Club! ♪ An alt-girl, an over-the-top reaction queen, a cute-voiced oddball, and a dark-smiling self-insert fangirl... Who will you fall for? ♡ #visualnovel #indiegame

Rinne: The Alt-Girl in Red Glasses

"I won't bury my bones in a city where all you can do for fun is karaoke or pachinko, I'll tell you that much."

Rinne Murata
Second-year student. She's a silent girl who's in the same class as you.
She spends all her time drawing alone, aiming to get into a national university for the arts. She's obsessed with underground subcultures and dreams of living alone in Tokyo. She looks down on the other club members who only watch mainstream anime. Also, she has zero friends.

Shoko: The Reaction Queen

"WAIT A GOSH DARN SECOND! D'you think I'm some kind of animal in heat?! How dare you!"

Shoko Hasegawa
Third-year student and the art club's vice-president.
An enthusiastic enjoyer of comedy manga, she can't help but react with perfect comedic timing to anything.
Despite her aggressive behavior, she has low self-esteem and is very self-conscious about her height and physique.
She says that her dream job is having no job, but she has a secret dream that she's never told anyone.

"Kana: The Cute-Voiced Quirky One

""Could you be... my very own sweet prince?""

Kana Kitano
A first-year student. She has a high-pitched, cute voice and is a bit cloud-headed. Her dream is becoming a voice actress.
She often says things like ""auu auu"" and ""nano desu,"" and says sound effects out loud.
The other girls in the club think she's as adorable as an angel and treat her accordingly.
She fell in love at first sight with you, whom she calls ""Prince Senpai.""
She has no friends in her own class."

"Yurie: The Dark-Smiling Fangirl

""""Hey, guys—how about you start showing some restraint? ^^""""

Yurie Ishihara
Third-year student and the art club's president.
She projects a soft and gentle aura, just to become terrifying as soon as she gets angry. She is best friends with Shoko.
She likes self-inserting in fiction, and she's especially obsessed with the character ""Kyoya Tobari"" from the hit series ""Hitman Re-bored: Family Matters"".
She is a top-ranking writer on the ""Fortune Tellers United"" fanfiction site.
As you could never possibly surpass Kyoya Tobari in her eyes, she is not a romanceable character in the game."

The wait is over, Prince Senpai! ♡ Every heroine is an otaku girl in the school art club. The Steam store page for Girlfailure Art Club is now live! Add it to your wishlist—we’ll be waiting for you ♡ store.steampowered.com/app/4563410/Girlfailure_Art_Club/ #visualnovel #indiegame

Shoko: "and seriously what the hell is up with a new member in june, that's so out of season. are you supposed to be the out-of-season transfer student or what? what kind of galge even IS this? I'VE NEVER PLAYED THOSE KINDS OF GAMES SO HOW WOULD I KNOWWWW!!"

Rinne: "Your categorization is careless in the extreme. An 'otaku' refers to a person who deepens a specific interest through knowledge, analysis, and collection. Shoko-senpai, you called him 'an otaku like us,' but how many times must I repeat that sampling whatever manga or anime happens to be trending, then abandoning it for the next thing the moment boredom sets in, makes one merely a consumer, not an otaku..."

Kana: "Ehehe... would it be okay if I call you Prince-Senpai?"

The Steam store page will go live on Wednesday, August 5, at 2:00 AM PDT / 5:00 AM EDT.
