Sometimes I wonder if some people only join me in VRChat because they're bored and expect me to entertain them

It's interesting seeing how the furry fandom is now compared to back around 2010 when I was starting to be active in it.
I found one of the devs behind this project posting on Reddit that they're aware of this issue and a few other issues and are currently working on fixes, so that's good.
I was excited to try the Blue Dragon recomp that just came out recently but some of the files keep getting blocked by Windows and labeled a trojan. Supposedly the files are safe and it's a false positive but I'm holding for now. I'm seeing multiple others reporting it on their GitHub, as well.

As long as nothing comes up, I'm planning on attempting my first ever VRChat stream tonight around 6 PM EST. I'm mostly just going to be chatting or showing a world. It'll also probably only be an hour or two depending on how things go.
Twitch is down. Neat... Hopefully it gets resolved before I stream later.
Seeing people who insist on only using Twitter while also complaining about how much they hate it is like watching someone touch a hot stove and burning themselves repeatedly.
I think I might attempt a short VRChat stream on Friday. Just a 1-2 hour stream of chatting or possibly exploring a world or something.
I'd love to get a pair of round glasses for my Chipori avatar but I can't seem to find any that work with the avatar's face.
Part of me is considering streaming Radiata Stories at some point. It's a pretty underrated JRPG from the PS2 I played quite a bit back in the day.
If I do go through with trying a JRPG on stream, I'd probably start with a shorter one like Chrono Trigger.
So I'm not 100% sure if my PC issues are resolved yet but the fact my PC didn't crash during stream tonight is a good sign. I believe uninstalling this month's Windows 11 update resolved my issues. I highly recommend not installing it if you haven't yet. I'm hearing it's been causing people issues.
Check out this awesome gift art my buddy @yaffyeen.neocities.org commissioned for me! 🎨 @nikkiaart.bsky.social
I believe I have my issues resolved now. I've been stress testing my PC for hours with zero issues. If my PC randomly crashes again after all this, I'm going to crash out
I'm hoping this issue is resolved now but I'm still looking into it as I have no consistent way to replicate it. I'm REALLY hoping it isn't a hardware issue, especially RAM. If it's a physical RAM issue, I'm fucked.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to cancel the rest of stream tonight. Going to try and figure out what's causing my PC issues. Sorry

For anyone curious, I'm still dealing with this. I've done almost all the typical troubleshooting for this issue but it still hits at random times and causes my whole PC to crash and reboot. Only VRChat seems to cause this. I have opened a ticket with VRChat support, so hopefully they can help.
Welp, I was planning to chill on VRChat tonight but apparently instead of that I'll be troubleshooting why EAC keeps causing my whole PC to crash and restart when running the game. Lovely...

I am once again feeling the itch to play a JRPG. Maybe I'll consider streaming one some day just to see if it's viable for me to stream that genre. Maybe it'll give me the opportunity to finally commit to a replay of the .hack games.

Every live streaming platform is owned by some shitty company doing shitty things. About to start streaming on joystick to avoid their bullshit
I don't want to become a VRChat streamer but some days I think about setting up my VR stuff in OBS so I can do the occasional VR stream when I don't feel like gaming.
I'm always worried about my stream audio, yet I have multiple people tell me that they like to use my streams as background noise or even to sleep to, so I guess I'm doing something right.
Every time the VRChat orange status debate comes up it reminds me of the time someone joined me while I was on blue and the first thing they told me was that they only joined me because I was their only friend not on orange.
I wasn't planning to order the Steam Frame immediately when it finally released but I think I'm starting to have controller issues and I'm getting tired of buying replacement parts for my Index kit.
This past month has solidified my opinion that overly vocal puritans are some of the most annoying people.
Companies stop trying to force AI into everything challenge (Impossible)
Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
