NEW LAB MEMBER! We welcome ‪@florherbstein.bsky.social who is joining us as a‬ ‪@carrerasleaders.bsky.social‬ Postdoctoral Fellow. She is alumni of #IBioBA-MPSP and the University of Buenos Aires.‬‬ She will study how nuclear metabolism influences proliferation and therapy resistance in AML.

Today, Lara Falcucci, who did her undergrad thesis with us, came back to present her PhD work at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research in an inspiring IBioBA-MPSP seminar. So proud to see how far she's come!

Two days ago we joined #CushingSyndromeDay with an awareness talk at 📍Hospital Durand. 🔬At @arztlab.bsky.social , we study the mechanisms behind Cushing disease, led by our PhD student Josefina Rosmino in collaboration with Mirtha’s group.

We were happy to host Guillermo Giambartolomei from #INIGEM, who shared an exciting talk on IL-6 trans-signaling and microglia activation. Thank you, Guillermo, for an engaging discussion and for kicking off our #IBioBA-MPSP seminar series with such an interesting topic!
