Miu is healing! So after some investigation, Miu had a functional illeus not foreign body injection. That means no surgery just some meds & tube feeds until she tolerates PO with minimal stomach residual values. Cause pending. She will likely be in hospital until Friday. Pic is from her nurse
Update: I have not gotten to visit today yet but today's update was not great. Today's xray was inconclusive & her kidney worsened a little, so they want an ultrasound before they do a procedure. While they still suspect a foreign body, they need to be more sure before they risk surgery. Vet pic:

Sorry to neglect ya BlueSky. I am going through a bit and my beloved cat got pretty ill. She ended up in hospital but has recently come home. I've been pretty overwhelmed & stressed recently but having Miu back home is a huge relief. She is on the mend; life may change for the future but that's ok.
