Worldbuilding question about the sex purge movie: You can fuck once you're married, but presumably only your spouse. But the tracker only pings when you're in the vicinity of a person who isn't allowed to bang. So wouldn't people just get married en masse and then throw enormous swinger parties?

What in the absolute goddamn hell is this supposed to mean on what planet is “the government implants trackers to ban you from having sex” the same sort of thing in your head as “please wear a mask in public when you’re sick”

While he didn't offer a direct answer, he did introduce an interesting metaphor that helps explain the entire movie.
"I wanted to set up a situation that was three years ago and see how people deal with life now," Gluck said. "My analogy has always been
COVID. If you drop in an alien in 2022, there's signs everywhere. Some people don't wanna do this. Some people wanna wear this. Did people fight it? People didn't fight it? In 2022, you don't really know the answer. But people have to move on with their lives, right? Three years earlier some shit did go down, but now it's three years, and humans have to move on with their lives, whether they like it or not."A big plotline in One Night Only is about the two main characters struggling to find condoms.
Every store they go to is sold out or charging absurdly high prices. But if the government is going to ban single people from having sex for 354 nights per year, shouldn't protection be free on the one other night? According to Gluck, the answer is actually: They do.
"They've all been sold out," he said. "Then they go to urgent care; they're sold out. She had all these condoms, but her roommate took them.
He thought he was gonna go back to his apartment, so he had them there."
Again, Gluck drew a parallel between One Night Only and COVID.
"Everyone has masks in 2021," he said, "but every now and then, didn't you find yourself thinking, Shit, where's my mask?"

okay but, this is the way we fight AI in everyday life we need to foster an atmosphere of disgust and repulsion of AI, like AI is like seeing a roach in a google review. Get up and leave the restaurant. "um, I just saw some AI stuff, I just... I dunno, it's gross haha. I'm good. thanks. Thank you"

we need to be normies about this and be like "EEEWW... IS THAT AI? THAT'S SO GROSS.... EW IT LOOKS SO GROSS (gag noise) UM, LET'S GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. EW LOL" normalize being outwardly repulsed by it physically

Mister Stupid Idiot is an inside cat who likes to rush the door and go do who knows what outside And then when I call him to come in, he runs back home like it's the end of Homeward Bound and he meows and purrs so happily like we threw him out and he's so happy to be home

started watching the bakshi directed seasons of the 60s spiderman cartoon & every so often there will just be a killer shot someone managed to throw their whole pussy into despite all the production limitations
