My #Pathfinder2e (homebrew) party, exploring an island previously undiscovered by their civilization, found their first intelligent creatures. They fought their way through a cave of hostile kobolds before finding a kobold village.. where the villagers spoke an unknown language and kowtowed to them.

I've seen the growing anti-intellectualism, especially in the US, for years now. It often rears its ugly head as balking at the word of scientists and experts in favor of popular public figures, but I never realized how pervasive anti-intellectualism has become in day-today life before recently. 🧵

As a writer who did all her reading before the age of 16, consumed books at a voracious speed then promptly burnt out and never touched another novel for 20+ years... Trying to find comps for a book you're working on is hard. >_>

My newest #Pathfinder2e campaign has the party working as guards and guides for a group of field researchers studying a previously unexplored island. With the job of protecting some of the most awkward people alive, my players built a party of some of the most beautifully awkward adventurers.

Spent hours last night in #Godot trying to figure out why my gravity suddenly flipped. My character would fly into the air when I launched my platformer. I FINALLY got it fixed, and then placed a tree on an island and... then it flew into the air two. Why? I was ready to start ripping my hair out.
