Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases Zoonoses 2026 Conference Day Two continued with a fabulous presentation by Prof Jane Sykes, University of California on companion animal-human health interface and Prof Scott Weese, Ontario University on communicating zoonoses.

Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases is excited about Day two of the Zoonoses 2026 Conference. The morning kicked off with a breakfast session sponsored by CSL Seqirus on Avian Influenza and Pandemic Preparedness. A great turnout of over 75 people!

ASID Zoonoses Conference kicked off yesterday in Brisbane. A stellar opening plenary line up including Prof Michael Kidd, Prof Zoe Wainer and Dr Beth Cookson and a late breaking presentation about the H5N1 bird flu made for a wonderful start to a great two days.
