I don't know what the next AI dev hype will be, but for right now skills are hitting the sweet spot for me in terms of getting LLMs to do what I want without wildly hallucinating.

It's incredible how archaic IDEs without AI now feel. Doing a project in iOS and I've actually switched to using cursor for actual code writing and only using xcode to build and test.

our april fools joke this year was a "Text to Bark" service which would translate human text into dog language and the amount of emails we get asking for API access is truly mind boggling

Anyone else finding GPT5 to be really slow for coding? I've gone back to Claude because I'm tired of it taking 10+ seconds to read a file.

The worst part of working with npm packages is trying to load a local version to test your package without having to publish. What works in one environment just breaks in another.
