Our Union stands up for NSW salaried doctors’ rights and a strong public health system✊ -> www.asmofnsw.org.au linktr.ee/asmofnsw

ASMOF members Dr Mitch Hickson and Dr Michelle Van explain why the Minns government changes to workers comp are harmful to all workers, including doctors. See you at the next rally: Thursday 22 May Liverpool - 4pm, Biggie Park Gosford - 4pm, Kibble Park Monday 26 May Sydney - 8am, 52 Martin Place

Today, ASMOF members Michelle and Mitch, stood up against the abhorrent changes to workers compensation proposed by the NSW Treasurer, Daniel Mookhey. ASMOF joined loads of other unions to send a clear message to Mookhey: You don’t fix workers compensation by cutting it!

While we welcome this apology from the Premier and Health Minister, we still believe these claims were a deliberate and malicious attack on doctors aimed at destroying their credibility and undermining the legitimacy of the doctors’ strike. The Government is on notice. Best to check your facts 😘

The Minns Government must make a formal public apology to cancer patients, and to the doctors of NSW, after they deliberately fabricated a story about doctors cancelling chemotherapy treatments for cancer patients during last week’s three-day doctors’ strike.

Doctors in NSW are taking action to ensure patients can access safe and quality care in NSW public hospitals. Without enough doctors we can't provide safe and timely care for you and your family. Right now our hospitals are in crisis. And as doctors we must take a stand.

🚨THIS THURSDAY🚨 Junior doctors, aka clinical marshmallows, are saying enough is enough. They've had it with the Minns Government and how it treats healthcare workers. Join us at the Royal Newcastle Centre this Thursday 11am, to stand with NSW Doctors and their demand for a safe workplace.

A medical administration manager at John Hunter Hospital has called its junior doctors a ‘workforce of clinical marshmallows’. This is completely unacceptable. Junior doctors are overworked, underpaid, and as this instance clearly shows: undervalued. NSW doctors deserve better!

Our members speaking to the media, urging Premier Minns to address this disaster now to ensure mental health patients receive the care they deserve. The NSW Government must retain and recruit psychiatrists (and all doctors!), by delivering better conditions, and pay parity with other states.
