So i did my civic duty today (jury duty). Peremptorily dismissed by defense attorney and home by lunch. This may have been the most efficient jury duty experience of my life, and I've done it A LOT. It's always a hassle but it's important, so I do it.
Can anyone catch me up on the diarrhea lettuce situation? I've been smugly eating lettuce from my garden and ignoring all the news, but the heat is finally taking its toll and all my greens are bolting. Is it just iceberg lettuce I need to worry about? Stuff from Mexico? Is cabbage safe?

Our last dog was so freaked out by fireworks that we started going camping overnight to our local fire-prone mountains where anti-fireworks laws are strictly enforced for 4th of July. It was great. Just thought I'd throw that out in case it helps anyone survive this stupid fucking holiday.

Today's mom projects: - Scooped 10 litter boxes - Washed car windows - Broke down old cat tree into trash can sized pieces - fixed sprinklers - changed light bulbs - set clocks to current time - acquired/installed new phone case - cleaned AC condenser, tested AC Tomorrow I go home and can rest 🤣
