one day i'd love to have a game that truly explores the struggle of being gay/bi in a time/place that is hostile towards it. i understand that such a thing is difficult to do with tact, but there's so much untapped potential for a good story w this

people r too afraid of letting their villains live to give a real meaningful redemption arc, and too afraid of killing their "good guy" characters to make the story have real impact and stakes

i was messing around w masks last night and managed to make the garlean 3rd eye look much more pearly. it's really cool how much you can do w the mask. it was mostly just fucking around with the channels until i got something nice looking

i think i slept in and missed the summer of blood thing which is honestly probably a good thing for me bc now i don't have to decide if i want to mute every related term and hide from it or go there and probably give myself a panic attack doing so

wol aster has a sort of difficult to define, vaguely british accent, though notably rhotic with some RP influence. his original accent has been diluted & changed by travelling for half his life au aster is a lot more distinctly west country/irish sounding though, a bit "rougher" overall

there's a lot of things but probably the biggest one is the time bubble. like there is absolutely no fucking way that all happens in less than a year. the current timeline spans over about a decade from arr to evercold, and i use this timeline for all my wols & ocs
