excerpt from chapter 1 of CaitVi It Gets Worse AU fanfic "You Will Ache Like I Ache" by dogpawsswapgod on AO3.

it reads: Piltie’s Dog fights tonight. The crowd erupts and Cait’s eyes go searching, at first looking past the blackened figure standing in the center of the ring. The Commander is looking for a cheerful burst of bright pink hair and she only sees the angry, oily mop, hanging long and tangled down the chiseled back. The shoulders — smeared with grease — are broad and that’s familiar. Cait squints, looking closer. From under the grime, the axles reach and steam curls into the sweat-stained wraps around the forearms and hands of Violet.

lil sneaky peaky at the toxic yuri/It Gets Worse au fanfic based on the art of @astorkes.bsky.social coming soon to an Ao3 near you!

screenshot of a snip from an upcoming CaitVi fanfic by dogpawsswapgod based on the art and concept of astorkes. it reads: Vi watches Cait toss the dirty rag carelessly onto the cracked edge of the sink. Watches her step into the tailored folds of her dress uniform. Use the shattered mirror to true the broach on her ruffled collar. Vi says nothing as Cait steps into her jackboots, cinching their wide armored cuffs around her thin ankles before making her way to the door. Vi watches from the low bed as Cait’s hand hangs on the doorknob and Cait stands facing the closed door wanting to turn and look at Vi and not doing it. So Vi watches as Cait leaves. Another grey green dawn swallowing her up with the sound of a slamming door.

small aftermath comic of the toxic yuri au. they cleaned up but you can't wipe away the GUILT #caitvi

One-page Arcane fanart comic by user astorkes. Caitvi. The setting is season 2 act 2, but an alternate timeline where commander Cait regularly visits pitfighter Vi. In the comic, Cait dressed Vi's wounds and is now cleaning herself up in the mirror. Vi is sitting on the floor, back against the mattress, hugging her knees. Their gazes meet through the broken mirror, but Cait looks away, sighs, and adjusts her collar. Small text with an arrow pointing at Cait that reads: "*cleaned up, making sure she's presentable".
