Not the main point of the current JKR discourse, but it still confuses the hell out of me that someone could both be a raging transphobe and write a series where the obviously-most-sympathetic character is Remus Lupin.

Wondering whether any of my Finnish connections would be willing to send care packages... after 3 weeks back, my supply of lakritski kastike (among other things, a shocking amount of which is licorice-related) is already dwindling dangerously low.

Love the algorithms that decide that because I've just been looking at the website of the make of the car I recently bought, it's a good idea to advertise to me that I might want to buy one of their cars. I think I'm full up right now, thanks.

Today's trivial complaint that actually pisses me off: I really like Five Guys, but they always make this fucking mess of your takeout bag where the fries are leaking everywhere and making the bag fall apart from grease. Every time I go, it pisses me off enough to keep me away for months.

Yes, I am that geek who is reading the manual of my new car. I mean, not cover to cover, but the last time I bought a car was 2007 and this is much fancier (plug-in hybrid) and I actually want to understand what it can do!
