Mum is back in hospital, unfortunately. After a difficult couple of months there with pneumonia (twice) and sepsis at the end of last year, she just can’t catch a break. Feeling pretty numb right now 😔

Still thinking about Jason Arday. It was pretty sickening listening to journalists talking about out it on the radio this morning, trying to avoid blame, showing little remorse. It was when one insisted that the Arday coverage “wasn’t about racism, it was about clicks.” that I got angry. 1/n

This dog has no sense of self-preservation. He avoids the shade and takes all possible possibilities to sunbathe 🌞 He then looks so sad when I tell him he shouldn’t be out in the heat 🔥 It’s also sad just how yellow everything is 😢 #dogsofbluesky
I’m really glad I’ve been able to get regular therapy. Talking through things helps a lot. It can, of course, like today, be draining too, but that’s part of it, and it’s ultimately worth it

Have been taking on another running challenge, this time a virtual route around “New York” totalling 114km 🏃 Did another 5k today and have just 19k to do in 6 days. The biggest obstacle for this challenge has been the heat and today was no exception 😮💨 #running
