can i be a bit honest and say i don't believe in throwing money at param*unt to make them believe animation is worth the investment because look at what happened to disn*y just now. their animation sector is still making record profits and yet they're *still* laying off staff
why are we americans flexing our cardboard buildings that have the lifespan of about a solid ten years before the walls start folding in on themselves and telling europeans to do better with their infrastructure like lol. your walls can't even handle moisture without molding over if your ac isn't on
got some incredible opportunities to draw beautiful, gorgeous characters and i'm already feeling so privileged to be given this rare opportunity. cannot express enough how i appreciative i am for those that checked it out especially with the economy being the way it is now

there's certain illustrations i know won't get traction (i remember my frankenstein illustration didn't before GDT's film, and then reposted after it released only for it to become one of my most liked ones), so this was drawn completely self indulgently and stupidly as per usual
i feel like every moment i check bsky there's something new about the mods further demonization of anything it deems to be "sexual" and it's especially nasty considering how they're clearly aware of the left-leaning ideologies of its userbase

genuinely tiring to go in the internet and see yet another artist forced out of the community for *check notes* fictional crimes. as if something like game of thrones isn't universally lauded as one of the most popular fantasy stories despite its grotesque subject matter
stories, in their essence, are supposed to explore the full spectrum of the human experience, no matter how immoral. you're allowed to feel uncomfortable, allowed to even block and avoid certain topics, but what you're not supposed to do is harass and call out creators over this disagreement
looking forward to experiencing the post-oscars chaos as if the game awards wasn't enough

not sure where this trend in western circles has stemmed from that a flaw or a morally abhorrent trait incorporated into a certain character reflects the artist than the characters themselves. as if artists are all mindless idiots that are incapable of separating themselves from their stories
