Yesterday I tried to deploy my Wagtail website to gcloud using Cloud Run and wooow it's so much more difficult than doing it on-prem. I got stuck on gcloud's IAM policy, and the container image creation part is so tough with all the details they hide from you. Public cloud is hard.
I'm building my company's website and I don't know why (😭😱🤬🤯). I now realize that it's just an itch. I'm using Django/Wagtail and bootstrap (and it was a hard choice). To style forms, your bootstrap code has to invade your python code. webdev is wild.
I'm now sure I'm far from understanding the networking part of tech events. I came late at Bucharest's DevCon and I was just able to get bored 🤦
