National Education Association@neatoday.bsky.social · 5h agoI am still very ride or die for Power Rangers as a whole but Beetleborgs does not hold up for me aside from the haunted mansion segments. I still love their armors, vehicles and modes and still wish I had the toys. I was never into VR Troopers but the suits are cool.
NathanTZ@nathantz.bsky.social · 20h agoI’m not even a professional, but I have a somewhat similar experience. On my Twitch stream I watch shows from my childhood. I went back and watched VR Troopers and Big Bad Beetleborgs, and they were way worse than I remembered. Yet I still hold the idea of those shows from my youth in my heart.
I loved Super Secret Squirrel and honestly wish they got 13 more episodes. So many scenes from it live rent free in my head.
