John Scalzi@scalzi.com · 4d agoIt's a small thing, I know, but there really is a difference between "palate cleanser" and "palette cleanser," and also, while we are on the subject, "pallet cleanser," and it is worth making the distinction

Well after years and years of having an absolutely atrocious phone addiction, I have finally scrolled and swiped enough that I think I actually pulled my thumb muscle tendon thingy that controls the scrolling motion. Don’t even get me started on the pinky that holds my phone up.

Someone brought their two year old to a 9pm showing of Obsession and I am genuinely baffled. I promise even if your kid can’t understand what’s going on, the extremely loud yelling and probably even the loud scary music is going to TERRIFY them. Also the baby is crying! Who could’ve guessed!
