Working on a *rough prototype* in iOS sim right now to have quick access to change device colors and add stickers. Still some bugs and polish to do but it's coming together!

I’ve always loved Arc’s membership cards and all the funny little titles on Poolsuite's business cards. We’re building Copy Club for COPY, a walkie talkie made for friends. I wanted joining to feel special, so I built a little card studio in Codex to make and customize ours.

OK WAT this is sofa king cool. In our skin complier, we'll have an auto-mapping capability so any skin can tell the stickers what to do based on where they stick. Let’s us do freeform sticker placement. Stickers are coming soon as part of our (optional) COPY Club sub #BuildInPublic #IndieApp #iOS

I've made a little menu bar app that lets you box. Replaces your cursor with a boxing glove, and has a little jab animation. You can place a punching bag on the desktop as well. Thinking about adding a second so you can do some crosses next. #buildinpublic

Every Copy walkie talkie reacts when you record or play a message. Ghostline turns that shared behavior into a sci-fi receiver-style waterfall. It builds as you talk, then fills from left to right during playback. Ghostline is coming in the next release of Copy. #buildinpublic #skeumorphism

Working on an import pipeline for Copy, our walkie-talkie app. It makes it easier for me and @mattmoss.me (and soon other creators) to submit skins. First test: an HTML version I built in Claude Design. As I learn what makes importing hard, I revise the pipeline. Figma is next. #buildinpublic

I wanted to design each device in Copy once. One base design. Light mode, dark mode, and every color should come from it instead of becoming another version to maintain. A Braun radio doesn’t change colors at night. You’re just using it in a darker room. #buildinpublic #productdesign

I've been having a ton of fun building Copy with @mattmoss.me . An async walkie talkie. Twelve channels. Hold down and talk. Let go and it's sent. No accounts. Static on empty channels. Skin it, make it yours. 🧵

Designing dashboard card states for property managers. Quickly scan compliance metrics to identify issues. I had trend arrows on each, but felt they added visual clutter. The +/- already shows direction, so I removed them. Plus smooooth gradients

Three portfolio compliance dashboard cards showing health states: green card with 8.7 score (healthy), yellow card with 4.9 score (warning), and red card with 3.5 score (critical). Each displays a semicircular gauge and three metrics: average emergency response time, average property turn time, and tenant satisfaction, with trend indicators showing changes versus last month.

Testing a pattern for agentic dashboards. instead of chat, surface optimizations that trigger focused agents. Property operators don't want to chat about their portfolio. They want 'Phoenix maintenance costs up 15%, want me to fix it?' Curious what patterns you've been trying?

Testing a game as text before committing to 2D/3D, updating my site, AND building GitHub + Linear MCP for mkr.cards. This is either: a) parallel-track building b) procrastination c) how everyone works. Choosing (a) but it's probably (c). 10/10 would do again. #buildinpublic
