Tonight I’m watching ‘The Elephant Man’. My first David Lynch film I’m pretty sure. What should I watch next?

So so happy with the impact animation I drew for the players laser cannon, I never thought I'd get to a point where I was actually proud of art I'd created but this whole project is shaping up to be something really fun. First time for everything I guess :D #playdate #pixelart #indiegames #gamedev

Ive had an insanely productive couple of weeks and Im pretty proud to be able to share more screenshots from my upcoming playdate game Cranky Aliens - I hope you like them! The finished game will have 3 stages, each with a unique player character and boss battle #playdate #gaming #noai #indiedev

A 2D game in monochrome. A large spaceship is chasing a smaller ship through an asteroid field. The smaller ship is dodging mines and asteroids as it tries to escapeA 2D game in monochrome. A large spaceship is firing a huge laser weapon toward a smaller shipA 2D game in monochrome. A smaller spaceship has hit the larger boss ship with its blaster cannon and damaged an engine, making the boss angry

It also glosses over that those intermediate stages are crucial to the end product. By having an AI do that work you're outsourcing your creative vision to a Frankenstein's monster made of the stolen ideas of other artists, and by the same token feeding the monster with your own ideas.

I think the fundamental gap here is that non-creative people think that creative people make things for the end product, when in fact it’s the act of creation and not the end point that makes it worthwhile.

Slow progress as Ive been in a bit of a slump but my little guy can shoot now. I hoped I could get away with not showing projectiles bc of the performance cost but I dont think this sells the effect. Anybody got any ideas for ways I can add juice without more sprites? #playdate #gamedev #indiedev

Accessibility question for PC games - What I'm working on right now will have the mouse as the only means of interacting with the game (nothing very precise). Are there accessibility concerns with that? If so, what alternatives can I consider? #indiedev #accessibility

Would anybody with a background in 'professional' game dev be willing to chat with me a little about project planning and project management when working within teams? Super engaging topics I know 😭 I'd be very grateful! #gamedev #indiedev

It's #WishlistWednesday and I've been working so hard on Bugboy's demo, I would love a wishlist if you're interested in cozy Gameboy games! #gamedev #indiedev #indieGame
